Chimonobambusa tumidissinoda - Walking Stick bamboo - This extraordinary bamboo, closely related to Square bamboo, makes an excellent interior plant with its attractively shaped nodes. When the plant gets to a mature size the nodes are the size of saucers. The canes, topped with these nodes, were made into walking sticks. The tiered arrangement of the foliage makes this an outstanding plant. Very rare and in limited supply. The export of these from China is now closely regulated. Gallon.

Phyllostachys aureosulcata Harbin inversa - In spite of that name this is a lovely bamboo. That curve, called a knee, is typical of P. aureosulcta and cultivars which is wht they are called 'Crookstem Bamboos'.
